The left hand breaks out of the root-5th-octave pattern briefly in bar 34 (and again in bars 41 and 42), when it steps one note above the octave to add a little dissonance to the chord.
N.B. This file was corrected (Jan 2005) - thanks to Bob Sartorius for pointing out a couple of wrong notes in bars 32/33 (last note in bar 32 was originally written as E, followed by D E F# in bar 33 - this was corrected to D followed by C# D E)
